Leading by Positive Example

From Coaches to Parent to Players. We shall strive  to walk the talk. Falcons Rugby Club is a SAFE environment for everyone.  Every member are designated caretakers to ensure it remains so.

​

Each Player are expected to

• Be fully immersed in the learning of the sport  to ensure they are safe

• Enjoy the process of Play 

• Strive to give their best  on and off the pitch

• Back their teammates

• Support the community 

• Respect the Referee, Coaches, fellow teammates, opponents and family

 

Coaches:

• You are responsible for your team and supporters

• Set positive tone for players especially in challenging situation.

• Coach not only with knowledge but with heart and patience. Each player develop differently .

•  Insist on FAIR PLAY. Do not tolerate foul play, fighting or bad attitude.  

• Be prepared to take off an offending player

• Be the leader they can look up to

• Stay current with rules and regulations of World Rugby

Parents:

• You are the back -bone of the club. Own it and support it

• If you need to shout, let it be one of Encouragement!

• No Side-line Coaching and Refereeing, especially during a game and regardless on how you view the  decision made.

• There is no 'I' in a 'TEAM' 

• Everyone has something good to contribute,  Bring it!
