Greetings!
We will post updates on Friday afternoon on WhatsApp.
Message from Clover Rugby:

We are excited to see everyone this Saturday at Clover Middle School! Below is important pre-match information to share with players, parents, and support staff.
Pizza Update
We have a new pizza partner this season. While prices have changed slightly, the pizzas are larger than in the past—and speaking personally, this is the pizza I order when I want something really good.
Weather Outlook
We are aware of the possibility of severe weather on Saturday. Based on the latest forecast, we do not anticipate the district closing the fields at this time. However, thunderstorms are possible, which is unusual for January and something we have not previously encountered. Please review the weather policy below.
Weather Policy – Clover Middle School
In the event of lightning, the Clover School District (CSD) representative will issue a notification. Upon detection of a lightning strike in the area, all fields will be closed and immediately evacuated. Fields will remain closed until 30 minutes after the last detected lightning strike.
Clover subscribes to a weather monitoring service; therefore, fields may be closed even if lightning is not visible from the site. Fields will also close immediately if lightning is visually observed prior to an official notification.
All players, coaches, and spectators must vacate the fields immediately when directed by the CSD representative or if lightning is observed. After the 30-minute clearance period, fields may reopen unless the CSD representative determines conditions remain unsafe due to factors such as structural damage or unplayable field conditions caused by rain (approximately 0.5 inches or more).
Due to the large number of attendees at CYR events, indoor shelter is not available at Clover Middle School. If fields are closed, all players, coaches, and spectators should return to their vehicles, which provide the safest protection from lightning.
Once fields are reopened by the Clover School District, CYR may choose to resume play or cancel the remainder of the day’s events.
Event Notes
Team Tents ( Falcons may need to bring some tents, standby for confirmation)
Due to the possibility of rain, teams should set up tents on the basketball courts between the fields. Please donotset up tents near the concession stands on Field One, as this area becomes muddy in wet conditions and creates significant post-event cleanup for custodial staff.
