Huskies Girls Rugby team welcomes student athletes to join the

Spring Rugby Season.

• Spring 15 a side   : Feb  - May 2026

• Fall  7 a side: : Sept  - Nov 2026​​​

• Registration is a 2 STEP Process

• Step 1 -Register with the Falcons Rugby Club  ( REGISTER Page)

• ​Step 2 -Register with USA Rugby on Rugby Xplorer

Communication  Platform:  Club main communication takes place on WhatsApp. A link will be sent to you once registration  is completed.

Calendar of Events and Season Tournaments : 

Huskies Girls Rugby Team is participating in the Carolina Ruggerfest 2026. This is the largest high school rugby event in the country organized by North Carolina Youth Rugby Union. The event is held at Matthews Sportsplex on February 28 - March 1 with lots of rugby activities plan for Friday night Anthem Rugby Pathway Classic.

Pre-Season Open Practice 

Tuesday Jan.20 & Thursday Jan.22

Time: 4.30pm -6.00pm

Venue: JV Washam Elementary School, Cornelius 28031, NC.

Season Practice Session

Days: Tuesday & Thursday: Beginning Feb 02. 2026  & Feb 04.2026

Time: 4.30pm -6.00pm

Venue:  River Run Athletic Park, 13007 Robert Walker Dr. Davidson, NC 28036

What You need to bring:

Rugby Cleats

Throughout the season, games will be played on both turf and grass fields. It is advisable to have different cleats sprigs for better grip depending on fields games are played.

Mouth guard

Talking  is a huge part of rugby , those who wear braces are encouraged to have appropriate protective mouth guards that fit comfortably.

Players receives Playing Kit which includes: Shorts, Socks and Practice Shirt.
