Welcome to Falcons Rugby community everyone! It has been an awesome journey skipping through hoops and navigating the process to get to where we are now. Falcons Rugby Club was registered on August 17, 2022. We are 3 months old š. Although we are at an infant stage of our growth, the people who are the driving force behind the Club has more than 30 years combined experience in playing, coaching , managing and more than 50 years of rugby-community mindset. One thing we are very aware of is the cost of setting-up the club is constant. Bear in mind we are not-for-profit and everyone's a volunteer so quite often we find ourselves digging deep to cover expenses to ensure we get through the initial stage. We have secured our jerseys from Tsunamis Sport, a renown eco-friendly brand which should arrive a week before Winter season training begins on Nov 14. However we have experienced delivery delays before and fingers crossed this will be different!
The birth of Falcons came quite unexpected as most good things usually begins.. we took the bull by the horn and with support from the Founding Families: Whitaker, Kuebler and Colson who then rounded up several other awesome families and friends to get started.
Here are the important people behind who works behind the scene to keep the wheels turning for both Hough and Falcons:

Bruce, Matt, John and I went to present at Bailey Middle School on Friday Oct 14 during lunch break. With great support from Principal Chad Thomas, who himself is a Rugby Sevens player and came to NC because of rugby, we are just esctatic to be partnering with the school as our host field. The Falcons will run the club and children from Elementary through Middle School in the zone or closest to Baileys are welcome to play. We look forward to meeting the players at the Open Session in November.
Keep Safe, Love your loved ones and See you Soon!
